Feeding Time for the Elephants

It’s feeding time for the elephants. It’s always feeding time for the elephants. They eat 300 pounds of roots, grass, fruits, and barks per day. But now we are giving them a treat. We learn to make elephant balls. Also edible for humans but particularly beloved by the elephants. Bananas, peeled. Sticky rice. Rice bran. Salt. Elephants particularly like salt. Our bodies know what they need. Listen to your bodies cravings. Elephants need magnesium so we add an extra pinch (er handful) to the Elephant Balls. The elephants see us in the hut making their snack and they’ve got hungry eyes enthusiastically stretching their trunks grabbing the balls from our hands. As fast as they can grab them they pop them in their mouths one after another.
